I recently purchased my new LED r8 style headlights for my 96

Does anyone have any suggestions as to what bulb I should get and who makes the best kit?

what bulb does the headlight call for? h7? d2s? or are u reffering to the LED portion of the light?

 

H7 and no the actual low and high beam of the light

 

I bought a cheapo 40$ HID kit on ebay and its perfect with my facelift headlights. Real easy install and i chose the 5000K (looks like oem). Post pics when your done !!

 

Yeah the H7 is the typical bulb for most aftermarket A4 lights but doublecheck because some use an H1. You can buy your HIDs pretty much anywhere - my low beams are from VVME and my foglight HIDs are off of eBay ($39.35 shipped).

 

I had purchased a set on ebay and got dipped so I was hoping to stay away from that for a little while

well i know on parts4euro.com the s5/r8 style headlights use h1 bulbs... so u might wanna check and make sure its h7
