Vèlin painted with lip?

Default Vèlin painted with lip?

I was wondering how everyone has the painted velin. Tried searching but couldnt concentrate with all the other off topic post. If you painted it how much did you get quoted? Also, i saw this 96 97 98 99 00 01 AUDI A4 L TYPE POLY URETHANE FRONT BUMPER LIP SPOILER BLACK | eBay. Any pictures or reviews? Thank!-franki

I'd assume around $100. Doesn't look too challenging. FYI Napa will color match OEM paints in aerosol...I've done quite a few random pieces including side skirts, came out very decent. With something like this I'd add a clear coat (Even though they told me it wasn't necessary with the product) for some added durability with the paint. That route would likely be about $40 instead.

I'd also look into this primer:


(NAPA Carries It) Aprox $8

The color matched aerosol runs aroun $16/can. I'd get two...why come back...

They did a decent job matching the color as well. Here's my old Subie, I painted the skirts and the fog covers...

Do you know if that lip fits the B5 S4?

Have you guys iver seen it? And thanks career. Maybe i might i have a silver a4 though, silver is the hardest color to match. So i would be taking a risk. But ill check out napa and see what they say

With silver they usually have to blend it into the front bumper and fenders. That's where they get you with body work. My sideskirts weren't perfect but I seemed to be the only one that noticed without pointing it out.
