Hey, can anyone give me any advice on doing a valve job for a 2.8 5v?
I've been looking for some used heads and think it might just be cheaper to buy this from FCP:
Audi A4 A6 98 99 00 01 Intake Exhaust Head Gasket Set

 

Assuming your heads aren't damaged in any way, then having them torn-down, cleaned, machined and reassembled with these parts isn't a bad way to go.

 

I haven't had a chance yet to pull the heads, but I'm pretty sure the valves are bent. So I'm looking at either finding a good deal on used heads or go with the above option.
Depending on how damaged the heads are I'll probably need more than what's supplied in that kit
