wont 'mess up' anything, but you could get a CEL from an incorrect secondary O2 reading. a spacer will solve that problem. search if you dont know what im talking about, its been more then covered.

the primary O2 sensor is the one that has an impact on fuel delivery and that is located before the CAT, so replacing anything after the sensor wont impact the sensors reading. it will however affect the secondary O2 reading but that has nothing to do with fuel, its for emissions purposes only. your problem might have happened at the same time but should not have been caused by the test pipe itself.

I know what you're talking about in regards to the CEL error. I have one anyway with the bad cat. After doing extensive research, think I'm gonna go with the Labree HFC. Haven't heard or seen any gripes about it. A little less HP, but I can deal with that. Thanks again.

labree makes a good product, i know several people who like their stuff. when i finally decide what im doing to my engine, il probably be getting a labree HFC to pass emissions. what do you mean 'a little less HP'? like compared to a test pipe? you gain almost the same amount, the 3-8 horsepower difference is completely unnoticeable.
