Default Well im doing it

So i decided to keep the A4. but.......

Im doing the Tip to 5-Speed Swap. it can successfully be done for under 2000$
thanks to Biketsai over at AudiZine he made an awesome DIY for the swap and it seems easier than what ive heard, and totally worth it. so ive already started gathering up parts. and as i go i will be selling my stock parts. so if anyone needs a brake pedal DBC Gas pedal, AT Cluster, 3-Spoke Sport steering wheel for TIP cars. for now thats what i will be selling.

heres the diy incase anyone is interested.

So you people are changing from automatic gear to manual? I thought everyone wanted auto boxes over there.. Aren't sixspeed boxes available in the US, by the way? In Europe, 5speed is standard, and never heard of anyone doing this mod, would save time and money to just buy another car with a fivespeed.

Yea tip steering wheel blows.

So far I have:
-clutch pedal
-m/t brake pedal
-clutch master cyl
-S4 M/T steering wheel.
-5spd shifter box
-**** & boot
-shifter linkage
-clutch slave cyl to master cyl hard line.
-clutch switch (required to start car)
-shifter surround
-new turbo timer(current one is too small for where I have it

still need to get a bunch more stuff
and mike if you read this i'm eventually gonna need a hookup on a clutch

my M/T pedals came in the mail today, decided to install them now cause i know it would have been a bitch and a half later, it took me a good 3 hours, most of the time was getting the AT brake pedal out, the master cyl had some bad *** loctite on it and it kept getting stiff from me pushing on the pedal to try and move it around, plus being upside down in a small space isnt all that easy to work with, but all in all i got them in, clutch has no master cyl yet, gonna wait till im ready to do everything before i put that in, it has the tension spring in so it atleast stays in place. heres a pic. so pretty much by me doing this, this officially starts the process, and keeps me from backing out.
