I recently got a deal on some TT carriers and have since ordered the 312mm rotors. When I install these, I want to paint the calipers and carriers. The rusty look really isn't doing it for me... The rotor hats will be painted black, but I'm undecided on the calipers and carriers.

I've been looking through other threads of people painting their brakes and it seems that everyone goes with red, which is what I've been leaning toward, but wanted to see what others had thought. I'm going to be going with the G2 epoxy paint so the color options are limited to what they offer.

They are stock calipers with the TT carriers. How long do the vinyl stickers last when stuck to the caliper? I can't imagine that they handle the heat very well.

 

well get the ones made for heat. I think they sell them on ebay or something. i had them on my s4 calipers and they are still there and look the same.

 

paint em red and get a porsche sticker and be like hey look i got some porsche calipers.

 

There's been a new development I the brake department. I picked up a pair of HP2 S4 calipers, 8 pads, and S4 uprights today for $100. I'm thinking the G2 gold color. The example pics I can find on the web make it resemble the STI brembo color.

On a side note, anyone want an A8/TT setup?

 

My calipers are red, but idk how it would look on a white car
