About where my runs, Sometimes under the 14, but I think your fine

ghost6303 Sep 30, 2009 05:33 PM

the battery is 12.6v, the alternator puts out 14v.

dragonrage Sep 30, 2009 05:34 PM

That's normal. Alternators should put out between 13.5 and 14.4 volts. Also, the gauge isn't perfectly accurate anyway.

Mr. Phil Sep 30, 2009 05:44 PM

ok just making sure... cuz most cars ive driven or owned the voltage needle is usually somewhere in the middle not almost maxed out lol

hiwords Sep 30, 2009 05:46 PM

it's normal. have you ever made yours go down to 12? it's kinda scary lol

NickBroderick Sep 30, 2009 10:11 PM

That's pretty much where mine is too.

Siena Sep 30, 2009 11:03 PM
