Where's the PS Fluid Going??

So lately I've noticed that my ps fluid drops from the max line down to the min line about every 2 weeks. I've looked around but don't see any drips where I park at night or during the day. I have looked into the engine bay but don't see any fluids that have splashed around or anything like that. So where could the fluid be going? I've been filling it up with BG fluid that says it is compatible with the OEM Audi G002000 fluid but today I picked up some of the actual Audi fluid to top bring it back to the max line.

Could it just be the pump leaking? How much to replace just the pump? Could it be a DIY?

Thanks,
Jeff

there are two p/s hoses coming from the bottom of the resevoir, the fluid may be slowly leaking from them, you should start by just cleaning them up and re-clamping them

Try poking a small hole in the bottom of the accordian boot. The outer seal leaks into the boot but since it's tie wrapped to the steering arm it doesn't leak out.
