Already posted this up in the B7 section of the A4 Forum and haven't gotten any response so I wondered if I could try here.....

B7 2.0T wife got low grade of gas 2 weeks ago, I put octane booster in full tank figured problem solved, Fast forward to today, rough idle, RPM's not bouncing, but noticeable change in idle speed, engine throws a CEL on my way into work (my car is in the shop) and I can't check it til I get home.

Any ideas? I hope it's none too serious I have a short drive home and don't want to further contribute to the problem

 

how much gas is in the car?

i got a cel once and vag come said exactly this "Missfire- Maybe low fuel"

its possible it misfired or somthing

 

about half a tank left of the low octane/octane booster mix. Gonna try getting the code in the morning and then fill her up with the good stuff. Thanks for the info.
