will this clutch fit?
Fourtitude.com - Audi A4 2000 Clutch kit single mass for sell.
just looking for some confirmation here. I am looking to change out my clutch because it slipped today when i hit the gas in 5th gear. Wasnt too bad but it will def need to be replaced in the next month or so. Will this fit? It came from a 2000 1.8tqm - mine is a 2001 1.8tqm thoughts? |
I think all yrs of the 1.8tqm clutches are interchangeable.
|
^This. I haven't heard anything to the contrary yet. Not a bad price either. You might ask him how many miles he ran that clutch on his stage 3 setup though.
|
FWD clutches are the same as well. In fact that's the same clutch setup in my car right now.
|
Yes all of the A4 1.8t 5 speed and 6 speed use the same clutch kit.

The A4 uses a 228mm flywheel/clutch, the S4 uses a 240mm flywheel/clutch. Only way that clutch will work on a 1.8t is with a custom flywheel that is designed for a 240mm clutch instead of the stock 228mm size the A4 uses. So it wont work on your stock flywheel or even your aftermarket 228mm flywheel.
