Default window and lock questions

Okay so some may know that I had a few window/ lock problems in the past.
Yesterday I had the doors apart (amazing how the whole window frame comes off btw). My door latch on the drivers rear door doesn't release when the interior door handle is pulled. I am going to get another latch unless there is some fix for this.

The passenger rear door window does not go up or down with either of the switches, should I be looking at a regulator/motor? All the wires/vacuum look good on both doors.

thanks

I've driven 440,000 miles in B5's and had this a few times. Just take the latch out and clean it out and put some new lithium grease in it. It gets gummed up. Especially on a 96 - 99.5 B5 before they added a baffle in the door to direct air stream away from the lock.
