Window SCREECH!
 

Any of you guys have/had windows that screech when you roll them down? It's unbearably loud!

I did a search and only found one result like the problem I'm having. The person who responded posted this, "wax the window , seriously , clean the window , then wax it with any type or automotive wax." Good idea?

Anyone have any fix for this?

I had an old Buick that did that, It was a little fuzzy pad that had fallen off of one of the guides inside the door. I don't know if Audi doors are the same, might start there.

Are your regulator clips there? two white/tan pieces of plastic. My pass door has both and doesn't screech and my drivers door is missing both and screeches like a banshee.

All of my windows screech when it's hot enough out! I have always attributed this noise to the tint film on the windows, but I've never tried to fix this issue.

weird thing with mine is only the drivers side does it and it only does it the first time its put down. after that no screech. idk wtf this black magic is.
