Wiper Blade assembly malfunction
Hello all..
My wiper blades have been creeping up my window when I shut them off they stay way up high on my window in a vertical position and then when I turn them on they work fine..
Tried to figure it out yesteday but no luck..
Any Idea what the heck is going on?
Any help would be appreciated!
Thanks

Maybe a couple to many beers after getting the tierod ends replaced yesterday..
Lemme try..
When I shut the wiper blades off they stop in the vertical position on my window then when I turn them back on they park and then continue..
it started yesterday.. I shut them off and they were about 5 inches up the window.. turned them on again and they park and pop back up 10 inches and so on until now they are parked vertical..
It seems when I turn them back on they cycle to the bottom of the window and continue..
I dont' know that is the best I can explain.. I am baffled.
Thanks for any help you can give me!

lol no worries man, I know how it is. I had this same problem in my other A4. There's a relay under your dash on the driver's side, behind the rest of the fuses. This relay is what allows you to turn off your wipers anytime you feel like it, and have them park themselves at the bottom of the windshield. Your local dealer might have them in stock, or you can order it here if you'd prefer:

Depending on the size of your hands, it can be a pain in the d*ck to get to. I can't remember exactly which slot the wiper relay is in, lemme see if i can find a diagram.

Actually I think the relay is working as the Intermittent setting works fine.. Maybe I am missing a detail..
Hmm ok when I shut the wiperblades off they cycle thru and drop to the bottom of the window but then they poped up 5 inches and stopped. The next time I turned them off they cycled thru and then poped up even more and stopped. The first time I pushed them down manually and as soon as I got them to the horizontal position the intermittent relay clicks and the cycle again..
Now they have moved up inch by inch everytime i have turned them off and now they are sitting in a total vertical position.. anyway
Anyway if your suggestion is the right one I appreciate it and will give it a shot but if anyone else has experienced this please let me know..
