Good god,

So like every other audi ever made, my center console armrest is beat up. I need a new one. I have been looking in junkyards, forums, part outs, everywhere i possibly can with no luck. ECS has them for like 200 shipped and i refuse to pay 200 bucks for that piece. Only because i feel like they know that they all break and its a hot ticket in the audi world.

Any other ideas before i go ahead and try to repair the one i have?

some research revealed that a company called vaglink ( globalparts ) has a bootleg one, which is fine with me. Anyone have any experience replacing theirs?

This is getting ridiculous!

 

Wish I saw this earlier. I'm in Providence today. I have almost 2 complete sets of armrests / rear consoles that I'm trying to get rid of but didn't happen to bring with me. Do you just need the armrest lid or the whole assembly? Email me.
