02 1.8t Quattro starting issue
 

So i got the car about a month ago started fine for about 2 weeks then the problem started, It has 140k miles. When i go to start the car in the morning itll just crank the first time it sounds like it wants to start but somethings missing itll catch around ~400rpm but wont actually start the second time i try it starts like nothings wrong im not getting any codes on my autel it has a new fuel filter and the pump seems to work normally it drives like a champ no lack of power and boosts normally this only happens after it sits a few hours it starts perfectly fine hot (after its warmed up) ive checked battery and + and - cables with my dmm and they look good the spark plugs dont look bad but i haven't had a chance to check the coils yet ive tried the throttle reset with no results (not that i expected a magic fix) i haven't been able to find a thread relating my exact problem i plan on testing the cts both at the engine and rad this weekend just looking for some tips on other places to look if they are good any help is appreciated
