03-06 parts interchangeable?
 

My wifes 06 1.8t cabriolet was bumped by a crack head with out inurance. The trunk lid cracked and the bumper cover got a dent/bend from the tow hook on the
other truck.

I hate to use my insurance... Since I am 22 and buying a porsche, I have never made a claim, and I don't want it to go on the cars history report since it really did no damage.

Well I found a good bumper cover and trunk lid off an 03 cabriolet the same color and for a lot less than the quote to fix it. So will thies parts interchange?

Anyone?

hmm im wanting to say no as i think the last body style of the 03 was made it 05.5 year. I think the 06 had differnent body style. Is your front grill like the new ones or like the b6?

from what i remember the cabriolets of the b6's were produced till 06? i think its a yes but can't be sure, confirm with others.

From what I have read, they held the Cab over for '06. Cannot remember why, but the 06 sedans were redesigned and had the 2.0T, the 06 Cabs kept the same body style and the 1.8T engine. Therefore, the 03 Cab parts should fit the 06 Cab.

Now, if you happen to have an extra front license plate filler or bracket in these parts, I would like to put dibs in on it.
