Default 03 Audi A4 Removing Driveshaft for clutch job

well im new to the forum , and im really hoping someone on here can help me.
Im doing the clutch on my wife's car and im trying to get the driveshaft out of the car , i have the hanyes manual and i did as it said and bolted the center suppot back up. but ive tried just about everything and it will not come out of the transmission or the rear end. does any one have know whats going on here , has anyone had this happen and have tips to get this thing off with out damaging it. ive found talking to people on the forums usaully helps way more. And if anyone has any more tips for the job at hand i would really appreciate it.
Thanks

Yeah i have those out and everything i read says it just comes down, I have it unbolted on both ends and its not coming off. So I'm trying to figure out why and if there's something i didn't do or something i can do. i cant find a break down to show the parts or anyone that has taken pictures of the same job so i can get an idea. I just would rather not break things.

If you have them out you'll see a small groove going around near where the grease cap is.

Put a screw driver up to it and hit it with a hammer and it will pop off. Its probably never been removed on either end
