2003 1.8t Cam chain Tensioner replaced - No Start
Hello Everyone.
First time user of the forum.
I recently replaced my Cam Chain Tensioner on my 2003 A4 1.8t.
prior to doing so, the following codes were present.
P3041
P0411
P0011
P1136
P0299
P1128
P1328
P1297
P1325
P1327
P1602
The car still ran, it just sounded like a diesel or a tractor. rattling from the rear of the VC.
I set the crankshaft timing mark to TDC. Cam Gear was also at TDC.
When I removed the VC, it was obvious the Tensioner was bad. very worm all the way to the metal. and the intake cam had jumped 1 tooth.
Cleared codes at this point.
Replaced tensioner, everything still lined up at TDC, aligned intake cam (16 link pins) and reassembled.
Turns over just fine, getting gas. no spark.
no new codes have been prompted.. 4 days of taking back apart and double checking everything. All marks are lined up and still 16 link pins on can chain.
Today I opened up the ECU cover and 40 amp fuse is blown.
Would this keep the car from getting spark?
