Have u tried going to another dealer?

 

The Audi dealership is performing the new engine work. It's hard to take it to another dealer when the entire motor is taken apart.

 

any update on when they think it will be ready? will the new motor carry a warranty on it ?

 

Still no update on when the car will be done. They are giving me a 12month 12,000 mile warranty, which i think is bullshit. I can't get over this company. They did finally give me a new 2.0T to drive in the meantime and I assure you it is getting beat to a whole new level of beat. AWD donuts are fun hahaha

Did you contact AoA or have you only gone through the dealership?

 

he said he has spoke with both, however i had a problem with VoA about 10k after my 50k warranty expired (hit a pothole and side air bags went off) basically the short story is dealer told me to eff off, VoA told me to eff off, i said no, pushed the issue and VoA covered the repair at no charge

 

So the dealership tells me that the Audi will be comming back to me tomorrow. Any suggestions as to what I should be on the outlook for? A huge part of me wants to just sell the thing, but I'm about to write them a check for 6400.00 tomorrow so I would hope that I will be trouble free for the next few years. They told me they want to drive it tomorrow and put 100 miles on it to make sure all is fine.

 

You should be on the lookout for everything. Scan itfor codes when you get it back.

That 100 miles thing sounds very fishy.

 

I dont see why they need to put 100 miles on it? Sorry for your luck.
