Is there a casset deck? If so, you can get a converter that plugs into your headphone jack on the MP3 player and inserts into the cassette slot. Best-buy-about 20 bucks.

 

casset deck is a good inexpensive way! Thumbs up to that.

 

cassette adapater is not only inexpensive but also way more reliable than the FM adapters. Two thumbs for cassette adapter. You can ofcourse have it professionally installed but that's hundreds for labor/supplies if you don't know someone who knows alot about car electronics.
