Hi Guys,
Im looking for an engine diagram for a 2003 a4 1.8t. Iv had an alarm for the MAF sensor. I want to take it out and clean it myself. Any tips on taken it out would be great too.
Thanks

Just off hand, that code doesn't sound like the MAF. The lean fuel trim code generated in my Passat with the same engine, indicated a vacuum leak. Generally its a leak directly off the intake manifold somewhere. In my case, a small hose connected at the front of the manifold that came loose from an emissions component under the manifold. A new clamp on the hose and the code never returned.
Haven't had this particular lean fuel trim code generated in my Audi. But I don't think it's different from the VW. Regardless, removing and properly cleaning the MAF on occasion is good maintenance.
