A4 stuck in park, this is some B.S

So to add to the many problems i've had with my b6, i can add one more, so one day my car just decided not to come out of park, i took apart the center of the console where the automatic trans lever is and found a locking mecanisim and manualy pulled it away so i could drive the car, i did some research and people said to change the brake light sensor on the brake pedal, so i did but it did not fix my problem, check the fuse 31 and 14 2 fuses people said to check and they are good, so i just uncliped the magnet sensor that makes it work but i would really like to fix it , ANY IDEas?

also my brake lights work so i know the brake light switch is working ,also the little locking mechanism does work bc it locks and unlocks when i put the key in and out but for some reason its not getting the signal that my foot is on the brake so it wont disengage??? so it has to be somthing inbetween the switch and seloniod????? here are a pic of the little magnet thing that controls the saftey hook, its the little coil thing at the front bottom of the pic above the wire connection...

The tiptronic switch is the white plastic piece that sits below the chrome trim. Has a connector and a printed circuit board

Does the red foot icon light up and go off on the shift selector when the brake is pressed...?

Please let me know if you managed with this. i have exactly the same problem and i've spent like $ 800 trying to fix it already with no luck. (New Shifter & Brake Switch)

I'm in Zambia and we dont have an Audi Dealership so please advise as to how you sorted it out?
