Default acceleration problem

its a 2003 a4 1.8t with 52k and on a hot day when i accelerate like from 1st gear its feels like the car has a hard time getting speed and after like 3k rmp its all good, i am guessing the that is when the turbo kicks in. What could be wrong?

when its hot, your engine gets heat soaked a lot. after 3k, your turbo kicks in... so i gotta say everything is fine there

Are there any alternatives to heat soaking besides a FMIC? I have DSMIC and still get heat soaked, but that's mainly because I'm in Florida and only get 3 seasons (hot, hotter, and hot as hell)

all of us have them (1.8t people) and all of us get heat soaked ))
u can upgrade your DSMIC to a more powerful one, but thats about it.
Or meth injection, but that wouldnt help a lot (in a long run)

Why doesn't anyone talk about water injection for our cars? There was a company called cooling mist that was popular back in my rx-7 days. Kits aren't that expensive and supposedly add quite a bit of power. Of course you can also run methanol or a mixture if you want.
