Default Any 3.0L owner done your timing belt at Edge Motors?

I asked around, seems Edge Motors (in NY) has the lowest price on timing belt job for 3.0L. They charge $975 including parts and labors. Parts include: Timing belt, timing belt tensioner, timing belt hydraulic dampener (30v engines), metal impeller water pump, thermostat, all accessory belts and g12 coolant.

Anyone have your timing belt done over there? Do you like the work they perform?

Thanks.

Hi

Do let us know if it works out, l thought that it would cost between $2000 and $3000.

The downside to an Audi is that it's very pricey for a VW.

That's why I am asking here... The deal seems too good to be true. If the quality of the job and parts are good, I will definitely go for it.

Sergei comes highly recommended on other forums. He regularly does VW/AUDI all the time with good praise for his work. He'd be doing my 1.8T if it werent such a drive for me. Look up Edge Motors on Passatworld.

He has to be doing this under the table or something, that, or he is a stright up bad *** that can change the belt out in 2 hours.

Alan,

Just let you know I did my timing belt job at Edge Motors. After research on VW sites, it seems he is really reputable. Anyway, $975 parts and labor. The job includes timing belt, water pump, serpentine belt, valve cover gaskets, rollers, tensioners, thermostate, and G12 coolant. It takes about 2.5 hours to complete.

The job was done about 1 month ago and the car runs great. No problems at all.
