one of my cats went bad about 3 months ago. I didnt have 700$ to get it repaired, so looked into O2 sensor simulators that might work since a bad cat is just emissions and not a potentially damaging issue. Now I found this surge chip that supposedly gives me a few extra horsies and adjusts the signal from the o2 sensor... in order to work as it says, I might assume it also acts as an O2 simulator? or am I completely wrong? At any rate, if it doesnt work, does anyone know where to get an o2 sensor that works? I'd much rather spend 400$ to gut my cats and 100$ on an o2 simulator rather than 700$ to just get a new cat. If anyone has any input, please let me know!
