...the proverbial s****ing dog!

Hi, I'm new here! My new 2003 Audi 2.0 non turbo ALT is poorly. I just felt a slight bump on my way to work then it started misfiring bad all the way, gutless and shaking under 2500rpm. EML flashing.

When I first got the car, I got a code thrown after a poor/low idle after a mway journey, had it scanned on a Snap On tool and found:

17927 P1519 Camshaft Adjustment malfunction not a plausible signal intermittent

17689 Coolant Temp Sensor at Radiator outlet (G83) Signal too small P1290 Low limit reached intermittent

The temp gauge reads quite cool. Never goes above 90 on idle but much lower around town.

I didn't clear the codes but they aren't showing now.

Today, I get P0301 and P0011 and it is chugging like mad, flashing EML the lot. Don't wanna move it but at work now so want to go home!

Any ideas what to do about it or where to start? Anything I can check myself like connection on sensors? I am reasonably car savvy with decent tools but no mechanic.
