B6 6 speed trans issue, I think....
Hey, I am a new Audi owner and am wondering if I have an issue. I have an 02 A4 with a 3.0V6 and a 6 speed manual shift transmission, it is quattro as well.
When I shift up from one gear to another, after I remove my foot from the clutch pedal, I watch the RPMs slowly go back down. It reminds of a slipping clutch, thats happened to me but not in an Audi, as this is my first Audi. Is this normal? Is my clutch going out? Do i just have to get used to it?
Any help or info would be greatly appreciated.

"Slowly" is a relative term, but I think it's normal based upon my three MT6s. The transmission does not immediately drop rpm as flywheel momentum takes a short time to fade away. If your clutch were going, then under hard acceleration the rpms would rapidly climb but the car would not move. Already been there, done that with the A6.
