Default B6 Coolant needs refilled often

Hey everyone, I'm new the forum and I want to provide some input and posts in the future, but before that I'm having a slight problem with my car that maybe someone has experienced and fixed.

I have an 03' A4 1.8T 5spd manual that needs its coolant topped off about every week. I use Audi G12 coolant part number G012AG81G and I mix it with 50/50 water. I don't see a leak, however I haven't really taken off the plastic skid plate underneath so it could be pooling underneath... I'm just wondering if this is the norm for the 1.8t cars.

I really appreciate any help and I look forward to giving feedback in other areas of the forums.

Not normal, most likely spot is the back of the engine with the coolant flange. There would be some orange gunk on the trans on the passenger side.

Thanks for the quick reply, I appreciate the help. One last question, how can I get this repaired? Is this a stealership/mechanic repair or can I do this repair myself with minimal knowledge?

He's talking about the coolant flange, that you can do is just really difficult due to the restricted space.
