B6 ECM replacement?

B6 ECM replacement?
So my driver side front blinker went out and I have tested everything, but everything seems to be good so I am thinking it is the ECM, the part# is 8E0907279-E, I have a 2002 A4 Quattro 3.0, is it possible for me to replace that part with a 8E0907279-F? If so what is the difference?
