This is the Original Guide translated from German. It looks as if the mirrors were purchased that way and this guide is just how to install them.

Hello dear blog readers,

barely a month after my front bumper conversion of the FL-conversion goes in the next round.
Please do not get me wrong, I'm a Schnäpchenjäger, so it may well be the next to the conversion goes well, and like half a year. But now to the new (used) mirrors.

Acquired in the bay mirrors have the following features:

-Electrically adjustable
, Electrically folding
Automatic anti-
-Heated
Environment lighting
-My car color

Newly my existing equipment to thus-electrically folding and auto dimming and integrated turn signals.
I am here today to describe the mechanical modifications as the electrician will follow later. Why I'll tell later.

Vorndran, the conversion was pretty easy because I could use the prior knowledge of the A4. Has lasted all about 2.5 h.

First, the dismantling of the door panel.
From her first-prize out the iris of the tweeter by carefully (only plastic!)
-Next, the trim is removed, while they need to unclip it from front to back. CAUTION: it is clipped and put back!
-Then all the screws, look like the image resolve.
be solved if all the screws and removed the lining from the bottom started herausgeclipst with some violence.
-Now the panel with a little train to pull out the top, whisk broom but also exercise caution because of the cable on the inside
-Finally solve all cables connected to the panel and unhook the Zugmechanisumuss for the door opener.

Next, the expansion of the old mirror is up.
-Solve to see in the picture the cable to the control unit.
Now the rubber seal in front pulled out cleanly cut away and. must- CAUTION: The internal cable must not be damaged.
-Next, the body screws, as shown in the picture, solve and remove, which provides little game that you'll need.
Leztes-solving as the mirror screw, as shown in the picture, take the mirror to the side and pull the cable out with caution. This may be the the door at the position with a wedge must be spread carefully to get the plug out, so also the resolve of the body screws.

Now comes the installation of the new mirror.
-Install the unit where it is Mirror Image 2 cables introduce.
-Also have made sure the thread when the plugs do not slip behind the wheel and jam, so the best fit with disk closed.
Mirror mount with screw.
Thread the cable through the hole and in the control unit into place.
Seals put around the cable and the hole closed.
-The 2nd cable to the 2 wires is the turn signal connector, these do I have to look like the picture, first blind down for later.
-Body bolts.

Finally, the installation of cladding
Attached is a mirror in reverse order.

To my positive surprise, I found the Audi to neither form nor the plug on the pinout has changed somewhat.
That is why the simple conversion Plug'n'Play. The mirror adjustment, the heating and Umfaldbeleuchtung einwndfrei works without changes. It's just the turn signal cable added.
Thus, in the near future on the plan:
-Auto-dimming rearview mirror
Port totlegen the indicator in the mirror and turn signals in the fender and close the
-New door control units and coding of this (for elec. Anklappbar and dimmable).

So, that's it for now. If you have questions, go ahead.

I know that but how would i go about snaking the LED wire from the mirror to the side marker. Do i have to dismantle the bumper then the side panel?

side panel for sure. as the wire disappears into the body. It would be quiet a process tapping into the side marker. u be better off taping into the headlight turnsignal.
