Default Battery Removal and Replacement

I looked all over the place, searched this forum and audizine.com. I just as much as the next guy really don't like the same old question over and over again but all I found was my question asked a couple of times without any legitimate answer.

What is the process for removing and installing a new battery in a B6 Audi 1.8t? I bought a battery from Advanced Auto but was wondering if someone knows what the correct model number is. I got the model they had in the computer but just wanted to check it against someone else's numbers.

Hopefully one of you guys can give me a hand. Thanks.

If you know where the battery is you got to take the battery cover off and then take the rest of the plastic surrounding that whole area off. Then when you have the battery in visible sight, disconnect the terminals obviously... Now it doesn't just come out, there is an allen bolt holding a plastic clip down. It is on the side closest to the front of the car. After you unbolt that bolt that is hidden in there a little, pull it out with the long plastic hook thing holding your battery in. After that lift that heavy sucker out. I know its not the most detailed but its pretty easy if you look around it. While you have it out you should just clean out that area of any debri... Thats why I took it out cuz those drain holes down there were clogged and causing water to enter by the pedals all over my feet...

When connecting the terminals back up connect the ground first it should eliminate the spark when the connection is made. A spark may still occur. Also from a safety point of view use one hand connecting the terminals up then tighten them down.
