Default brake upgrade causes problems

Hey guys, lookin for some help here.

I needed new brakes, so I decided to give it a little upgrade. I got schwaben rotors for the front, drilled and slotted. Got them put on everything went pretty smoothly.

Took it for a drive afterwards, when I hit the brakes now i get a noise and a feel in the car what seems like every time one of the slots in the rotor comes up. it's not bad at first, it wont do it at all when I lightly hit the brakes. When they warm up though, it does it whenever I even lightly touch them.

I spoke to the vendor that sold them to me. They told me that the manufacturer of the rotors puts the slots in after the rotors are made. Makes sense. And that this can sometimes cause a bit of a lip where the slots are. They told me to take them back off, and have them turned somewhere. I am however living away from home, in an apartment, without all my tools and getting back home is never easy with a busy schedule. So, I told them that and asked if it would get better after using them a while. Kind of hoping that the brakes would knock the lip of themselves. They said that would probably work, but it's not getting any better.

I'm wondering if anyone else has had this problem, and if they had to get the rotors turned down just a little to solve it or if there are any other suggestions.

Also, I got some for the back as well, from a different manufacturer, same vendor. I'm hoping I don't have the same problem. But on the back, getting the caliper off is looking very tricky. I only had time to do the front last time. Started on the back but didn't have time. How do you get the back caliper off? It looks like it's on with allen bolts, but the bottom one is right in front of the lower shock mount. There is not room to get a socket allen in there, and a regular allen wrench wont give me much leverage to break it loose. Any suggestions on that? Do I need to take the lower shock loose/off?

Any advice is greatly appreciated. Thanks in advance to any help!
Scott
