I am having problems getting my car to start. I have an aftermarket Python 1400XP, that I did not install. I telescoped the steering wheel all the way out with the car running, and it shut off. I pulled everything off and all the wires seem to be in order. The car will start with the remote start, but when I put the key in the ignition and turn the car to on, and step on the brake, the car shuts off. I think it is not recognizing the chip in the key. The car will not start at all normally. The strange thing is that the car will still start from the remote start without the wire coming from the bypass that the extra key sits in, that goes to the ignition to act as the chip, wrapped around the ignition. Any one have any ideas on a fix for this?
