I plan on keeping our 165K A4 for another year, at least until next spring.

It needs front suspension, PS pump, wheel bearings, a half shaft, MAF, and a fan control module. So looking to get through the next 10 months or so and found this kit:

$276...way cheaper but how bad can it be

I'll put 25-30 k on it in the next 10 months so if it makes i to next March/April with the cheaper parts then I'm good.

Anyone bought that kit before?

 

You may already know this but that is for a A6. Different car, different parts. Also an OE replacement would be made from Alloy/Aluminum, not steel, which besides weight may not make a difference as it's the bushings and ball-joints that fail.
