Check engine light and permanent Idle
Hi guys. I need help/advice please.
I have a 2005 a4 1.8t 130k miles.
Recently i notice it is on smooth idle all the time. I turn it on early in the morning and it goes into 900 rmp smooth idle. Then a couple days ago the check engine light went on and the radiator fan started running all the time. I thought it might be the heater I am constantly using b/c its winter, but i turned off the heater and the check engine light still persists.
Any help/advice would be much appreciated.
