So i had an issue where my '04 3.0 would lose power in low rpm acceleration and when i took it into the shop to get it checked out they told me the Clutch position sensor went on it and would need to be replaced. Seemed right to me, thing is they also said that this part is on national back order and wouldn't have it until next Tuesday or Wednesday.

Has anyone else on here had this issue? Obviously some others have or else this part wouldn't be on national backorder. It makes me think though, why hasn't a a recall been issued yet or something along those lines. Im sure if it does turn into a recall issue i would get refunded. But just wanted to check see how many others on here have encountered this issue.
