Mine broke about a month ago. The little piece that keeps the smaller cups in place flew off one day when there wasn't even a cup in it (I just happened to leave it open). It scared the sh$$ outta me when all of a sudden a piece of plastic came flying at me while I was driving. I have yet to get it fixed because its so freakin expensive for a cup holder

I never use the dash one if i can help it...too easily slops the liquid all over the place. Just open the armrest and use that one...no way you'll break it.

You can put the B7 center console in your B6, that has 2 cup holders, the little one above the radio is a ****** joke...
