Default Does hot weather really do this?

My wife drove my car today to an appointment. While whe was out, the power was going off and on at the house, probably cause it is extremely hot. Anyway, she was on her way home and she said that the car was sputtering and hesitating and the check engine light was blinking. It would only blink for a while and then go off, but the car was still running badly. She looked at them engine temp gauge and it was normal, but the outside temperature is about 115 today.

Could this be the reason that my car was running like this?
I know it's extremely hot today and the heat really has an impact on the turbo but would the check engine also come on? I've had absolutely no problems with the car until this point.

Idont think so. it is most likely one of your coilpacks is on the way out. Or you got old spark plugs.

Ok, thanks. It's still under warranty so I guess I'll take it to the stealer on Monday.
