While cleaning out my car I noticed 2 buttons above the trunk release lever on my 2002 a4 3.0 quattro.

Can anyone give me an idea what these 2 buttons are?
1 is a Car seamning to go uphill with beams comming into the car.
the other is beams pointing down.

Tilt and motion sensor off switches. If you are going to be towed and have the alarm set you can shut off the tilt sensor, if are leaving a dog in the car shut off your interior motion sensor. Both sensors reset the next time you unlock the car.
