I had similar issue with my 2007 A4 Cab, EPC light coming on intermittently but CEL constantly on. Got it checked by Audi dealer. Turned out couple of power relays were burnt. Replaced those and now all Ok.

Hi All,
I need some help. I have a 2009 Audi S5 and the EPC and check engine light keeps coming on. I have taken the car to the deal and have had them scan the car for faults. I keep getting low fuel pressure. I have changed both high pressure fuel pumps, both low & high pressure fuel sensors and still am having the same issue.

I did change cylinder number 4 fuel injector due to it being stuck open and causing a miss fire. Any toughts or suggestions would be welcome. Audi's diagnosis was to change everything. They did not know what was causing the issue.

Thanks for your help!

Default A4 B6 3.0 EPC and crankshaft speed sensor

Greetings all. Just wanted to chime in. I just replaced my crankshaft speed sensor in my 3.0. Sensor is the same, but is in a different location compared to 1.8t. I had to pull the sensor from underneath. I did remove the heat shield guarding the sensor. By removing two Allen head screws (1 was 5mm and one was 4mm). My sensor was secured by a 1 hex head bolt (10mm). From the top, I found the toughest part was unbuttoning and buttoning the heat shield wrapping the sensor cables).

Because of time constraints, I went with a Bosch part from advanced auto (it was in stock) as I didn’t have to time order OEM.

Anyways, no start up issues so far.
Hope this is helpful to someone else with the 3.0.

2003 A4 Quattro Sedan. 3.0. 196,xxx miles and counting.

Recently my friend lease Audi A7 from DSRleasing, I was with him from start to end. DSR Leasing, especially Johnathan, is the real deal! I've purchased and leased cars many times before and I am very confident in my negotiating skills at the dealerships. However, when I was having a hard time locating the exact color and the trim level that I was looking for, I was referred to Jonathan by one of my friends. I am so glad that I found Jonathan! He got me the car in my exact spec at a price that I could only dream of. And the best part was that the whole process was so easy! He even delivered my new car to my house! Top notch service from a top-notch guy. I will be using DSR Leasing for all of my future car purchases.
