Sorry for the multiple threads. Not trying to post *****.... the stupid forum, besdies putting double apostrophes in everything, won't accept all of the above in one post. Had to split it up. Even editing it to add wouldn't work.

If you are going larger turbo, though, I'd look at something other than the AWE. A few who've gone that route have switched out to better FMIC. The AWE is just too small and innefficient for large turbos.
My choices would be ER COMP, Racetec, ER SPORT, in that order. I went Racetec due to $$ but couldn't be happier. Even when I beat the snot out of my car, the IAT are within 5-7 degrees of ambient all the time, and fall rapidly after every shift.
Agreed. I wouldnt be surprised if the iat's continued to increase with this fmic. Also, its understood with this forum crap going on

Racetec can be had cheap on group buys but is always backordered. Go to Audizine.com I got mine for $700 but it was two years ago.
For ER COMP, go here:

Racetec for $820 on Audizine. Should I go for it? ...bustanut, what do you think? Is that going to be sufficient enough for my GTRS? It is for yourGT28RS right?

Yeah, but just know that after initial install, I wasn't getting the IAT numbers I am now. I did a lot of closet engineering ducting of the belly pan and the lower center inlet of the front bumper. Now, my numbers are every bit as good as the ER COMP. But off the shelf, not so much.

busta also talked me into a racetec! i used to boost 23 lbs on 1+, now i peak at 22 lbs but the car pulls amazingly harder! the exhaust and test pipe were a waste just about for the power increases i got... before my IATs exceeded 170 with about 75 ambient temp... now with the racetec, last logs i did, 85 ambient, IAT didnt exceed 92F....

email nick@autobahnexotics.com he hooked me up

Alright so one last question.. Which one would be the best for me? Obviously ER Comp has better performance but how's the install? I plan on doing it myself and the easier it is, the better. But since the Racetec is a little smaller, I'm sure it'll be easier of an install. BUT I don't necessarily want to sacrafice TOO much performance just for an easier install. Thanks!
