i need a new catalytic converter is the one in that auction good? it looks better than most i've seen for more money but i want to make sure im not buying trash

i have a 2002 a4 quattro 1.8t
cel is on code is p0420 so from what i've gathered from reading i most likely need a new catalytic converter

Depends on where you are its a 49 state legal cat. (not california legal) If thats ok, then i don't see any reason you shouldn't buy it, its a good price. I would personally get a high flow cat for a little bit more money.
