Default Has anyone heard about PowerLube?

Available at:

http://www.speedtuningusa.com/produc...prd_oil00.html

I was wondering about if anyone had tried or heard about this, the whole speed tuning website seems like a cheap gimmick, so I won't be buying anything from them unless someone recommends it. Ironically, I found the site through a group buy of their chips here on AF...

Anyway, this is supposed to be a once-every-50,000-mile additive you add to your engine, its ceramic oil (?!?) and reduces friction. Is this snake oil or would this actually work, and how often would I *really* need to add it to the engine (is it similar to the "110,000 mile" timing belt change intervals for the 1.8Ts? lol)?

That's what I thought, but a lot of people signed up for the $150 "chip" from speed tuning. I just wanted to make sure I wasn't missing anything here.
