Headlight Malfunction Light
Greetings!
'02 B6 with 150,000, 6-speed and recently purchased. I've got a headlight warning light but "the lights are on," so to speak. Pulling the headlights, it turns out they're aftermarket units and, moreover, the wiring harnesses on each side are showing one extra lead/plug-in. They're a two-wire lead but there's no place to plug them into the headlights. And, therefore, I'm wondering if this is why the warning light is on? Due to the aftermarket units and if so, anybody have an idea on the no-doubt pricey, OEM replacement? Forum input would be most welcome!
