Default Help - Where is the ballast??!!

Hi all. 2002 B6 A4. Left (driver's) dipped headlight issue.

I cannot find the ballast anywhere.

One picture shows where I thought it should be, but that area is empty.

The other pic shows where the wiring harness goes. One set goes back to another harness, and the other set goes into the quarter panel.

Any help appreciated - thanks!!!

No, I don't have HIDs. So no ballast? That was confusing me. Is there an igniter or anything, or just replace the bulb? Thanks!

OK, I'm an incomplete idiot. After months of 1 headlight, and being told it was the ballast, I had to fix it for inspection.

So, thanks pa4ul!!! H7 it was.

lol yea was going to say the hid headlights normally have a huge yellow sticker on their saying high voltage. Should be very easy to swap that bulb out.
