Default Hose repair/replace

When I got my inspection done at Audi they wanted to charge me $450 to replace a hose.

Part# n02035327

On my inspection sheet they wrote "vacuum hose to the turbo"

Does anyone have any idea of where on the turbo and then where after from the turbo?

hope this helps. Looks like they want to rape you at the stealership! U probably just have a small leak in the system. Any codes being thrown?

The only code is the wonderful P0411. Which I think my pump might be going out. I have to check the fuse still.

I'm thinking that it really isn't anything. Cause I'm not getting any codes for it at all.

If the DV is going bad would there be a code? They said I need to repair/replace it too. I'm gonna replace it either way. Just curious about that one.

Oh and found that same hose for cheaper on another part site. I might need to change it cause my idle is kinda rough. Also, ex. I press the gas but have to stop right away, when I hit the break my car acts like its about to stall. Not sure what that's all about either

i would lean towards a vac leak! NOrmally the car tends to do this when the leak is fairly large.

Awesome someone finally points me in a better direction.

I looked at your diagram. How does removing all that stuff work fine? A bunch of unneeded stuff?

yes there is a thread on audizine on how to remove the vac system and be left with just one check valve and a less cluttered engine. I have not done it but have heard good things from the removal. Takes time and patience though.

A boost leak test will help you locate any leaks in the system. It will make it easier to pin point them and be positive that the system is free of leaks with out having to replace unnecessary pieces.

I may have a boost leak as well.

I did a few runs 0-60

Kept going over 10 sec.

I'm sure it should be high 7 or low 8.

I'm thinking it could be from my DV since that is needing to be replaced as well.

So find the Vac leak, change DV, and possible boost leak. Everything else should be fine on power I hope.

Also, I was searching and saw someone wrote "limp mode"

Anyone have any possible idea what he meant with that?
