Hope I'm not hi-jacking the thread, but it was a bit old, so I figure it's safe.

Personally, I'd like to keep it factory. Even a clean Nakamachi HU isn't as clean as factory.
I'd like to get IPod integration & bluetooth if I can, so the Denison gear is interesting, but I'd like to know that it will all work with my car.

I hate the idea of paying an installer for what looks like should be a simple job.

I understand it's plug and play. I have been asking out the Ice Link gateway 100. Know one seems to know anything. I wanted to know if it works with the display in the car?

Does anyone know if the IceLink products work with the Bose Symphony units, such as in my 2002 A4?
I would love to see a wiring diagram for that unit if anyone has it.
Regarding the factory adapter, is it available for 2002 vehicles?
The IceLink does work with the Bose. I have it installed in my 2003 A4. You can control it through your stock Bose head unit. I dont have pics of how its wired but i might have the manual that i can scan if thats what you are wanting to see.

It took me about eh, 20 min. Controls are great, but I would like to see what playing on the dash. I think I'll change the configuration switches, and view from the iPod itself. The Dice is really easy. When you get the radio keys push them in with the angled side towards the center of the radio. Use the keys to pull the radio out. Once out push down on the locking clips (on the side) to get them out. The top plug is what you want to remove, plug it into the supplied adaptor, and plug adaptor into where the plug came from. Continue to plug in everything else, situtate your wires. Then your done. Not difficult. I did while at lunch at work. Yes I couldn't wait.

Like Protein, I use the cassette adapter. Some people have had bad experiences with them but I have loved it so far. I don't get any of the static that people complain about. To be quite honest, if you would of told me it was a CD playing it, I would believe you. I got the white belkin cassette adapter.
