Ok please can I have some help here from any one who knows? I have a b7 A4 soft top, Now the winter has set in ,im finding my front window steams up and does not dissipate, Now, I know it’s a case of turn on the aircon and this will take the moisture from the air and clear the windows, this is the case for every window except the front, I’ve tried every combination on the split aircon panel . Any ideas .

 

Make sure the inside windscreen is very clean. The control panel should have three small buttons to direct air up, middle, or down. Direct it up and most of the air will go through the defroster vent. You might consider leaving a couple windows slightly cracked to equalize temperature with the outside. Problem is due to warm/moist inside air condensing against the cold glass. If the inside is cooled off to match outside temperature, less condensation.

 

Is your heater core bad? Do you have any fluid inside of the cab? Smells at all? I had this happen on a b6 and it was a failed/leaking heater core. Hopefully its not this...
