Default Leaking washer fluid line

Hey everyone,

My wife has a 2006 A4 2.0T. The washer line is broken and I want to replace the line with some a little more durable since this is the second time this has happened.

The problem I am having is that the line runs behind a box on the drivers side of the engine bay and I cant figure out how to get the thing off. I can see there are about 5 to 6 hex screws that hold the thing on, but one of them is in an area that I can't reach with any tool.

Does anyone know how to get this cover off or had this problem before?

Thanks in advance.

the box is for the ecu. :: a4mods.com :: - The Premiere Audi A4 Modification Guide and Pictures Library I just used plastic hose and a zip tie to replace that black pipe.

Thanks for the info, that's very helpful. I unbolted the wiper arm but it doesn't seem like it wants to come off. How hard do you usually have to pull on it to get it off? I'm trying to make sure I don't break anything else.

u gotta kinda push and pull. there is a trick to it for sure cuz when i did my wiperarms the first i soaked with wd40 pulled tugged and not much happened. Then i pushed in towards the center of the car and pulled back using leverage and it pulled off easy.

well in your case i dont think its the hose but either the actual sprayer for the headlights or where the hose connects to the sprayer. U have to remove the headlight to access it or u can remove the front bumper. Whatever u choose. I had that leak and pulled the head light and kinda just pushed the hose further into the washerjet and the leak went away.
