LED license plate bulb
so i want one, i think it looks pretty clean, but im too impatient to wait for it after ordering it online....where in stores can i get it????
well if u plan on buying the light in regualar stores ur probably going to have to add a resistor .
ya fuck it I just ordered them online got the plug n play
where'd you buy from and how much? i was checking out the ones at ecstuning
I got it from this eBay store called motoring max...there's like 3 different coloring shades...I read the reviews and other people with a4's liked the product and service..and it was only $13 with free shipping
Hopefully it won't draw less watts, the bulb warning light gets annoying quick on the dash.
If they do all you need is a few in-line resistors and you will be set.
u shouldnt just make sure the output is 12v it should say on the website somewhere i got mine off ebay cant remeber what site but it was like 9 for both 3 dollar shipping
Ya I think it should be fine simple plug n play...but I should get mine any day now I'll let u kno how they are
pls post pics when you install your lights! am anxious to see what its gonna look like at nite.
if the plug n play you bought works without setting off a signal on the dash that a light is off, then i am definitely going to buy the ones that you got too. i jsut saw a lexus lastnite with those kind of lights and i was kinda envious. thanks. |
ok so i got my lights in their plug n play but their kinda fucken loose i think i didnt put em right or sumthin cuz sometimes they flicker but i gotta unscrew and retry but they do look clean when in properly....i thinkind i stripped one of the damn screws though :(

this is taken with my phone camera... as you can see the left one is cool but the right one isnt installed properlyAttachment 49811
looks great. it didnt trigger any "light out" on your dash?
well i guess the left bulb is loose...thats why it doesnt look as bright in the picture so sometimes it isnt on and that triggers a light...but when theyre both on theres no problem...so just make sure you put the bulbs in correctly
u might need to adjust the holder for the bulb mine did that at first and i had to tamper with it and also make sure when u install that the bulb faces the right way cuz with mine if there are installed backwards they will flicker or sometimes didnt come on.
ya thats exactly the problem...what did you do the holder? it just seems like it needs to be tighter
